From Rob at CCFC:
"Every Thursday you can picture what we are doing here at the center. This week twenty-five 5th and 6th graders from two schools that border the cloud forest arrived on Monday and have been with us until now (mid day Thursday). Today these students are going how with two fruit trees each having been carefully taught about planting et c.
They studied agroecology and all 12 lessons of BirdSleuth. One thing that all these students have in common besides their proximity to the cloud forest is that they come from families living in extreme poverty. Agroecology can and does help families out of poverty.
Thank you Cornell Lab and especially Gem and Lilly for your partnerships with us in this work."
